What is your role at Vovia?

I am an Account Manager. My job is to communicate with the clients, attend meetings, keep everything on track and make sure all client documents stay up to date. I enjoy the variety of industries our clients are in and how each client is different. I like seeing a happy client when their campaigns show great results!

What do you do in your spare time?

In the summer, I enjoy camping out in BC with a large group of my friends. We play spike ball, bocce ball and cards. In the winter, I love going skating – especially on the North Glenmore Park Trail, which is beautiful. Most of all, I love to spend time with my boyfriend and our two kitties at home, relaxing, playing cards or video games. We are also always on the lookout for new food spots to try.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise people.

I love drum and bass EDM music and have gone to quite a few festivals and shows. My favourite festival is Shambhala.

What do you love/what are you most passionate about?

I always love having a creative outlet, but they change often, and right now I am getting into building book nooks or miniature houses (it’s like a 3D puzzle). I love to travel – I went to Greece and Italy last year, and it was a trip of a lifetime. Next year, I  look forward to going to Japan with my boyfriend to visit our good friend who moved there for a year to teach English.

What is the best part about working at Vovia?

I love the organized processes Vovia has, and the people are great! Everyone is always there to help when I have a question or don’t understand something – it is a very collaborative team. I love the work culture with the team builders, beers & cheers and the donuts – all great ways to get to know everyone at the company.

Favourite quote you live by?

I like this quote because it reminds me to try new things and no dream is too big – because it is better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all.
