As Stacey celebrates her 10th anniversary at Vovia, we thought it would be a great idea to reflect on all the memories, lessons, and challenges over these years. From helping land ATB and championing offline media, to building a media team that’s trusting, supportive, strategic, and smart—Stacey’s made her mark. Read on to learn more about Stacey’s 10-year journey with Vovia!

What made you move over to Vovia in the first place?

It was an opportunity to work with Susan again and help Vovia expand its media offering to include offline.

Do you remember your first day? Tell me about it.

Karo space, new people, treats – everyone was so young and smart!

How has Vovia evolved over the last 10 years?

Value of offline, the team, and the caliber of clients.

What was the biggest challenge that you faced at Vovia over this time?

Championing offline media and the value of creating awareness – “you can’t buy it if you aren’t aware of it”.

What do you feel are your biggest accomplishments since you started in 2015?

Helping the team land ATB Financial and the work we did for them over the 5-year relationship. And the current Media team – great relationships, trusting, supportive, innovative, strategic, and smart.

If you could switch your job with anyone else within Vovia for one day, whose job would you want?

Gian, our Accounting Coordinator, I love getting lost in the numbers.

What is your biggest hope for the next decade at Vovia?

Continue to attract high-caliber clients and help them grow their businesses; continue to attract top talent and help them grow their careers.

What is your favourite memory at Vovia?

The day we were informed that we won the ATB business and they came to our office with a food truck to celebrate and kick off our new partnership.

Fun Questions

If you were an animal, what would you be? Why?

A well-cared-for dog. They are incredibly loyal and loving and are better at relationships than humans. Or a bird, so I can fly to incredible heights.

Camp my way across the country.

If a movie were made of your life, what genre would it be, and who would play you?

A documentary, and I would play myself.

What is your favourite hobby?

Art. I am a potter, a painter, a print-maker, and a crocheter. I am also starting to sew and embroider with a plan to bring them all together to create mixed media pieces.
